Important Information You Should Know
Before Purchasing Coins or Bullion!
Hobson NBT, Inc. is not an investment advisor and no representative of Hobson NBT, Inc. is qualified to provide investment advice. What we do is simply buy and sell precious metals in the form of various United States and European historic coins and bullion, when requested by a customer and when market conditions permit.
Hobson NBT, Inc. and its representatives are not qualified to make ANY assurances regarding the future value of any precious metals bought or sold by our company. This is important for every customer to understand as the past performance of any coin or bullion traded by Hobson NBT, Inc. CANNOT be used to predict future value. Coin and bullion prices can be highly volatile and they DO rise and fall depending on market conditions. All purchases of coins and/or bullion must be considered speculative and to involve significant risk to the Buyer.
"Market conditions" include a variety of market forces, including the SPOT PRICE OF GOLD; the current "Ask" or "Bid" premiums per coin; availability in the market of the particular variety of coin or bullion offered; and the settlement terms agreed between Buyer and Seller. When a particular coin or form of bullion is experiencing increased demand, the premiums and cost per coin may be significantly higher than when that same coin is readily available in the marketplace. It is especially important to realize that the premium charged at the time of purchase may vary widely from the premium offered at the time of sale...and vice versa! The precious metals market for coins and bullion is dynamic and has no identifiable pattern.
Historically, few coins or bullion items have appreciated dramatically in the near term. Therefore, Buyers should recognize that it may be necessary to hold coins for at least a 3-5 year period, or even longer, to realize any significant gain. A gain in value is NOT guraranteed and may NOT happen. Buyers should consider all coins purchased from Hobson NBT, Inc. as strictly collector coins and any investment advice regarding them should be obtained from the Buyer's own financial experts.
